Cloud Migration for Trilogy Professional Services
Project Overview
Trilogy Professional Group is a local Central Coast-based accounting firm. They had an on-premise server that used to run business-critical accounting software. They have now moved all business software to the cloud, and the server was only performing file, print and authentication services. The cost of looking after the server was no longer feasible.

Nexlo began by auditing the current server. We needed to migrate all data to a new Office 365 SharePoint directory. This was done over the weekend. The users computers were then connected to Office 365 Entra. Over the next few days the server was decommissioned. We were able to also decommision the physical Datto backup device that was in use, and replace it with Dattos cloud backup storage which is considerbly cheaper.
Project results
Trilogy Professional Group are now paying 1/3 of their previous IT monthly bill. These savings can now be spent on upgraded laptops for the employees. We were also able to turn off the VPN to the office now that users can access all company files from their laptops.
